What Causes Persistent Ear Pain?

I have have severe ear pain for over a week and a half. I have been on antibiotics for most of that time (oral and drops) have seen and ENT, Neurologist, my Endocrynologist, been to the ER, have had lab work done, CT scan and no one can tell me what is wrong or how to stop the pain. I have also been Type 1 diabetic for 30+ years.

hello,thanks for your query, please check for referred otalgia- pain can radiate from teeth, tm joint, base of tongue,larynx,esophagus,tonsil,parotid gland.check abnormalities of these things where u get ear pain. all the best. take care.
