What Causes Persistent Fatigue And Dizziness While Having Low WBC Count?

I have a low white blood cell count - 1.2 - so my doctor referrred me to an oncologist. I have had secondary or teritiary hypothyroidism well controlled for years. I have had persisitent fatigue, aches, dizziness, losss of appetite, and various other complaints for the last year and a half. My endocrinologist believes this to be a virus and has prescribed and anti-viral for the second time. The first time did nothing. My question is how many unidentified viruses are there, and is it possible for a virus to reside with me for over a year and a half? Wouldn t I eventually get better or succomb?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, virus is like other biological entity several species might be there, as matter of fact once the person infected by virus then virus finishes it is course of disease, but some its component remains the in the human body system and that matters but this is only possible with certain viruses, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
