What Causes Persistent Fever Along With Vomiting And Headaches?

Low grade fever 99.9 to 100.9 throughout day and night for past 3 weeks, hx of vomiting on 2 separate occations, headache for 2 days, neck pain, itchy, red, burning skin rash on chest wall, with one patch of same on my back. I have hx of metastatic breast cancer 7 yrs ago with 3 positive lymph nodes, and enlarging nodes under right arm pit. Had lymph nodes removed on right side 2 yrs ago all benign.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of persistent fever along with vomiting and headaches which is due to viral infection due to compromised immunity of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit general physician once and get it examined and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Urgent care visit is not needed as it will take 3- 5 days for viral to get relieved. Take full rest and plenty of fluids to rehydrate body. Avoid intake of heavy and spicy food and take soft bland and light diet. Get blood test done to detect level of infection. You can take Meftal P for fever. Avoid having outside food.
