What Causes Persistent Fever And Headaches?

Fever for 3 days, after Motrin or Tylenol wears off fever comes back. 102.4 was highest. Headache, slight cough exhausted. Coughed up some green phelm today- nothing really to speak of. Took expectorant. Only other thing to mention is that I had a breast biopsy 11 days ago. No redness, heat or pain at the site.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to the health care magic

Breast biopsy is not related to your complaint

You are having upper respiratory tract infection like bronchitis...

Your work up done as follow...
_Auscultation
_CBC
_ASO titre
_Throat swab if needed

You need to given decongestant and paracetamol combination drug

Antibiotic also can be started(like cefixime) if total count is high...

Drink lots of water

Avoid excess spicy foods

Steam inhalation done three times a day

Take care

Hope this will help you

Consult pulmonologoist for examination and discuss all these
