What Causes Persistent Fever And Rib Cage Pain After Taking Hagerstown?

I started with chest congestion 3 days ago. Began taking Hagerstown. Also had low fever...99.7 the next day. For last 2 days have h a d very severe pain in my ribcage and the right back side of my head. Not coughing so much to cause this... but the pain is severe. Still have a little runny nose and slight chest congestion. Anything to do for the pain besides ibuprofen & heat?

Hi,

If you are experiencing chest pain which you have chest congestion it is important to have a doctor look at your chest and rule out pneumonia (lung infection) or other problems related to the lungs.

If the lungs are clear then paracetamol and codeine can be added if ibuprofen and heat is not helping.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
