General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, you seem to be running any systemic infection and should be worked up with complete blood counts to look for any changes in white cells and platelets.

Also, malaria parasite and other serologies for enteric, etc may be needed.

Ultrasound abdomen and chest X-ray for any local cause should be done. Infectious diseases specialist must be consulted as oral antibiotics may be needed after narrowing down the diagnosis after the blood workup.

Meanwhile, OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or can be helpful during fever spikes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
