What Causes Persistent Fever In A Child?
My 8 year old has had a fever since thursfay morning it got up to 103.8 he slept all day till about 5pm then up all night.yest he had a little more energy then layed around again and went to bed early uve ben treating the fever with advil and today started childrens tylenol.he did not wake up with a fever this morning thrn it went up at 11am..now sleeping again.this is normal? Im just worried about him that hes not getting enough fluid i also took him to dr yest..should i be worried about my 1 year old getting this

Make a blood count and urine test. It is unusual to feel so tired in that age. In the meantime, check the temperature and try to give him plenty of fluids and multivitamin supplement.
