What Causes Persistent Fever When Suffering From Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome?
Yes, thank you. I have a 27 yo daughter with EDS. She recently has been running fevers, worsening tachycardia, and has elevated platelets as well as WBC s almost 18,000. Her absolute neutrophils are over 12,000 and absolute monocytes 1313. We are awaiting a hematology appointment. Should I worry about bone marrow issues and leukemia etc. My mother died from multiple myeloma 25 years ago at age 50. Can her Ehlers-danlos Syndrome be throwing off her labs? She really has not been feeling well lately at all. Increased bone pain and a recent bacterial pna.
