What Causes Persistent Fever While Suffering From Typhoid?
My 6 year old son suffered from typhoid fever 1 month back IgM was positive took ciproxin 250mg be for 8 days he didn t get a febrile, Dr changed to ceftriaxone 1.25g iv daily but fever was still on 99.2 or 99.4 F again started on azithromycin and took it for 7 days. It has been 1week he completed course now again having 99.2_ 99.4 F temp on and off. He is active with no other symptoms.

Do a repeat thyphidot test igG and igM. Also go for a CRP. Take Tab Cefixime(100) twice daily. Also, Do a complete blood count. And give paracetamol (250) SOS
