What Causes Persistent Fever With Rashes On The Chest?

hi doctor, I had fever for 3 days and after 2 days I again had fever for a day. I consulted an experienced doctor and was told I had chickengunya. I am presently feeling v. tired and weak after 20 days. my temperature is 97.6 F in the morning . a couple of days back I had rashes on my chest, could I be suffering from dengue.

Hello,

As you have fever, rash and weakness since 7 days. So it should be evaluated.

I will suggest you to do complete haemogram, dengue NS1, chickenguniya IgG and IgM, smear for malarial parasite after physician consultation.

Now you can take tab. Paracetamol, tab. laratidine. Apply calamine lotion on rashes.

Take balanced diet and keep yourself hydrated.
