Then sick the next day?
Understanding your concern. As per your query your daughter have symptoms of persistent fever with small sores inside the mouth and lips which is mainly due to dehydration of oral cavity, viran infection, enlargement of papillae of tongue. It could be due to nutritional deficiency and burning mouth syndrome.
Need not to worry.
I would suggest you to
- Drink plenty of water. Take diet rich in fluids.
- Take multivitamin tablet to booster immunity of oral cavity.
- Take probiotic food/drink like yogurt in your diet.
- Apply dologel and mucopian on these sores.
- Chew on few drops of lemon or put them in oral cavity to stimulate taste secretions.
- Maintain hygiene and do beta-dine gargles two times a day.
If your symptoms did not resolve in one week visit oral physician once and get it examined properly and start treatment as per prescription.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
