What Causes Persistent Fever?
Sir, It is regarding my father illness, He is 72 yrs old, He is suffering with fever from last 1 month, he taken medicines and also admitted in hospital for 13 days. Doctors make different type of tests like Blood tests, ECG, Urine Test, CTScan, Bonemarrow, Ultrasound, but all in vain after 13 days doctors are not able to find the cause of fever. Please help me to find out what is this and how I can help my father in this critical moment. Sandeep 0000

You told your father is having fever from last one month and went through number of teats, but it would be very helpful to reach at diagnosis if you can describe the pattern of fever and also any associated signs or symptoms. If you can tell the results of tests then it would be very useful. Kindly also mention whether your father is suffering from any other illness or taking any drugs.
