- avoid excess dosage of lorazepam ( 5 per day ), which will down-regulate the concerned receptors and will not work efficiently
- addition of paracetamol ( 650 mg ) sustained-release tablet or tramadol hydrochloride ( 37.5 mg ) after meals for headache relief (require prescription of your doc ).

What Causes Persistent Head Pressure Despite Taking Prednisone?
Hello, * Sorry to say, but prednisone is a steroid meant to reduce inflammation of some sort in body and not the drug of choice for persistent head pressure. * It is the underlying viral infection causing viremia responsible for head pressure. In addition to the steroid, certain measures are needed to follow as - deep breathing of vapors of boiled water added tincture benzoin with blanket covered overhead - discuss the need of antibiotics as penicillin or cephalosporin, decongestant as diphenhydramine or loratadine with your doc - avoid excess dosage of lorazepam ( 5 per day ), which will down-regulate the concerned receptors and will not work efficiently - addition of paracetamol ( 650 mg ) sustained-release tablet or tramadol hydrochloride ( 37.5 mg ) after meals for headache relief (require prescription of your doc ).
