My fiancée received a concussion from her 70 lb puppy, as her hit her directly in her right temple on Jan 27th. She has an immediate headache and sensitivity to light, but she went to work for the next 10 days, until the disorientation, cognitive processing issues, imbalance, light sensitivity, and mood lability became too pronounced. Since that time, a CT scan and MRI showed nothing. However, she just went on Nortrittyline due to continued headaches. Though she does very little, her head throbs when she does even a little. Her headaches increase after she eats, and now her eyes and head are sensitive to the touch. And, the sensitivity to light comes and goes. Is there anything unusual about these symptoms at this point. Anything she might take for pain now that she is on an SSRI?
