What Causes Persistent Headache And Blurred Vision?

I ve been getting headaches consistently since Oct. 22 and on Nov. 13, I woke up with the most intense headache I ve ever had, I tried to get a glass of water but my vision became blurry and everything seemed to be moving. I went to the doctor and received and MRI but they couldn t find anything. Since then, the headaches are still there but not as bad as the ones I had Nov. 13-15 and my vision continues to blur, I become light-headed, sometimes feel like I m going to faint, etc. Any idea as to what I could possibly have?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello dear thanks for writing

since any major issue which could have caused these symptoms is ruled out by normal MRI i think you are having an attack of migrain,
also do let me know if you feel like vomiting, if headache increases when outdoor and relieved in dark.
migraine is very common and usually, involves one side of the head and very severe lasting for several hours to days.
i would recommend you to take painkillers like aspirin, ibuprofon ,codeine or their combination for few days

try staying in dark room avoid going outdoors.
i would also recommend an opthalmic consultation to rule out other causes of blurring of vision.

hope this was helpful please let me know if you have any further queries
hope you get well soon.

I find this answer helpful
