General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Headaches that are associated with pain in the neck are commonly tension headaches though other causes may need to be considered.

The other common causes of headaches are migraines, sinus headaches, cluster headaches, due to trauma, due to lesions in the brain.

To determine the cause , if the headaches are severe or persistent, he may need assessment by his doctor.

This would involve assessment of all symptoms and examination of the central nervous system.

I hope this helps
