What Causes Persistent Headaches During First Trimester Of Pregnancy?
Hi, I think I have a migraine, because this kind of ,( long) hadeche never happen to me before,. It s now 24 hours of pain now. Earlier this day I tried acupuncturist and head massage, didn t help. Also I m 11 weeks pregnant. What should I do? please help.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Experiencing headache during first trimester of pregnancy is generally due to increase in hormone progesterone level. But as days passes and the hormone level stabilizes, it should eventually decrease and subside. You can take tablet Paracetamol for it, in case it is severe and unbearable, as it is the only safe and recommended drug. Also, practice meditation, which might help you to overcome it or reduce its intensity. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
