My normal bp is 120/70,l - as recently as 2 months ago. However I recently I ve had headaches every day (the past 4.weeks or so). I just took my bp at Wegmans and it is 149/70 and I have a headache. I am afraid..should I go to urgent care? My dpctor isnt available
It may be due to high blood pressure. Since persistent headache can be due to high blood pressure (hypertension) and untreated hypertension can lead to serious diseases, including stroke, heart disease, kidney disease, and eye problems.
A persistent headache could be due to some other cause as well, so you are advised to visit the emergency room ('urgent care') for proper assessment and further management.
