What Causes Persistent Heaviness In The Chest With Impaired Balance?

for the last month I have had a pressure feeling in my chest between my breasts, it is constant. I ve had a ekg and a stress test both results are perfect, the pressure is constant. I also feel a pressure on the bottom inside part of my mouth, under my tongue, and sometimes my lips tingle. Now in the last two days I have a strange balance feeling, like when you have spent a few days on a boat and then come on land that tipsy feeling..any ideas? Otherwise I am an extremely active healthy 53 yr old women with no real health issues

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have persistent heaviness in the chest with impaired balance . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like neuropathy , diabetes , ear infection , ear condition like meniere's disease , cardiac condition like angina or neuralgia. I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor will examine by ordering chest x-ray and physical examination . Doctor may refer you to ENT specialist for ear problem , chest specialist for condition like chest infection or cardiologist for angina like condition . For now avoid bending forward and apply warm compresses to chest .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
