What Causes Persistent Heavy Vaginal Bleeding Despite Taking Medication?
Hello doctor. I ve used Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo 28 for about 6 months, I have fibroids and hormonal disorders which made me have long and heavy periods. But I decided to stop taking the pill 4 montsh ago, I had normal periods after 3 months, but in the 4th month, again abnormal bleeding, I m in my 4th week bleeding. Doctor recommended me taking tranexamic acid to decrease the flow during 5 days, then taking again Ortho Tri-cyclen. Tranexamic acid helped to decrease flow, then I started taking the Ortho Tryciclen, I m in my fourth day and I m still bleeding. What can I do? thanks

the cause of bleeding is fibroid. get checked by gynechologist and take advise regarding further investigation or surgical requirement.should be kept under observation and all aspect like your age and surviving issues.should nave given your age marital status and detail history.
