What Causes Persistent High Fever After An Advantage Fit Sling Surgery?

I had surgery for a hernia back in 2013 or 2014 unfortunately I was left with Very bad Pain in my left ovary I also suffered incontinence and other small problems. I just had surgery for an Advantage fit Sling and rystorrethvoseupy I m not sure what word he spelled right there sorry. I had intense pain that comes and goes but the last two or three days I ve had fever and pain my Methadone has no affect at all. I also had a bout with Diverticulitis put me in the hospital three days before Thanksgiving. Help please info would be great right now

Hi,

Postoperative pain and fever are suggestive of surgical site infection. So in my opinion, you should definitely consult your surgeon and get done a clinical examination and CT scan of the abdomen.

If CT is suggestive of collection then you may need surgical re-exploration. You can also take a painkiller and anti-inflammatory drugs. Antibiotics are also advisable. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
