What Causes Persistent High Fever Along With Chills And Body Aches?
Hello sir, I am having fever, feeling chilling, body ache, is too much and headache,, since friday the 26th june 2015, on saturday, I did CBC , and malaria test, it came negative, yester day the total day was okay, but in evening, I was having 102 fever,, I took amoxylin, clavulonic ,,,,,,,, calpol 650...after taking these medicine I am having loose motions should I do typhoid test today, or should I wait During the CBC, test, I ased the laboratory pathologist to do a typhoid test,, he said it will not shoe, I requires at lest 4,5days to see the same Pls help

Thanks for your question.All your symptoms are suggestive of a viral fever.There is no need of antibiotics for viral fever.Just rest &plenty of fluids along with proper nutrition will suffice.It will be better gradually in 7-10days .To counteract pains you may need to take paracetamol 650mg three times daily.The loose motions may be due to the side effect of the antibiotic you had used.Typhoid Test will have value only in the second week of the disease.Hope this assures you.Get well soon
