Hi, Good morning sir, My 6 years 5 months old son having high fever from last 3 days. I have consulted two doctors but fever has not comes down below 100 F. Doctors recommended Ibugesic plus & Azee200. I have also give him Meftal-P. But their is no result. He has also cough problem. Doctors said, "it is viral fever". Malaria, Typoid, Haemoglobin, Dengue test done, all normal. Kindly suggests.
Understanding your concern. As per your query your child have symptoms of persistent high fever which could be due to viral infection and coinfection by bacteria and virus. It is definitely a matter of concern. I would suggest you to do tepid sponging for immediate relief as you having high degree fever and take proper antibiotic course in combination with Ibuprofen/ Acetaminophen along with antiviral medications. Give child plenty of fluids and proper rest. Visit general physician once and get it examined. You should get routine blood test done and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Normally it will take 5 - 7 days for viral fever to get recovered.
