What Causes Persistent Irritation Of Skin Throughout The Body?

I have symptoms as if I have allergies. My skin feels irritated on my whole body. Palms the worst. Scalp and lips involved more it feels like. My head feels stuffed. I have had these symptoms off and on for two weeks and sometimes, like this morning, it seems pretty extreme. I try Benadryl and I can t tell if that is helping. It is unpleasant but doesn t seem to affect anything. Does that sound like allergies?

Hi Dear,

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to avoid itching or pricking rashes as it can exaggerate your condition.

- Maintain proper personal hygiene.

- Take zyrtec one a day to suppress infection.

- Apply cold compresses to reduce the itchiness and inflammation.

Consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may order few tests like blood test, skin patch test, test for allergy and physical examination. Doctor may prescribe corticosteroid ointment, antibiotics , anti inflammatory and immunosuppressants .
