What Causes Persistent Itchiness On The Torso And Back?

My wife s torso and back I he s. It normally itches more at night than the day. This has been going on for about 2 weeks. What may be causing get the problem? There are no signs of a rash. Can allergies cause the problem? Cedar is very high right now in our area. What can she take to help reduce the iching?

It may be due to hives or taeniasis.

As a first line of management you can try antihistamines like Pheneramine for symptomatic relief.

If the symptoms are severe, you can consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
