What Causes Persistent Itching Near The Clitoris And Dry Vagina?

hi I started to have a drier and more irritated vagina last week for about 3-4 days, then I got back to normal lubrication and I still have the persistant itching mostly near the clit...my vagina and clit are super sensitive...like it is too tingly to touch. I don't have any discoloration, smelly discharge/different than normal, and it's not a yeast infection b/c of the no cottage cheese or white stuff.
