What Causes Persistent Itching Sensation Over The Surgery Scar?
A few years ago I had a plate and ten screws put in to hold my wrist together. I healed well, but all of the sudden I have severe constant itching over the scar and around the area of the injury. Prior to this I had little itching right after surgery and nothing shortly after and all of the sudden it s intense, red, irritating, and looks slightly swollen. Doesn t seem normal, considering I never had these symptoms before.
