OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

Though you seem to have ovulation pain, this pain you are experiencing seems to be different, perhaps a ruptured cyst on the ovary and hence, I would ask you to report to your healthcare provider right away for further management considering the frequency and intensity of the pain.

A sonogram of the pelvis, preferably in the transvaginal route is necessary to detect the cause of the pain.

Urinary causes like an infection, calculus etc., also have to be ruled out. Further management can be planned accordingly.

Temporary pain relief can be had through antispasmodic medication.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shanti Vennam, OBGYN
