What Causes Persistent Light Bleeding Post Periods While Having Hypothyroidism?

Hi doctor, I m having hypothyroid and I m on medication, it s almost 19days since my period started, it was very light for 10 days and then was like normal period for 7 days and then getting not red but light discharge like, why is that?? What s wrong with me doctor??

Hi,

Thyroid hormone deficiency in hypothyroidism can cause either very scanty or absence the periods to frequent, prolonged menses. Replacement of appropriate dose of hormone would correct menstrual cycle.
