What Causes Persistent Lump At The Site Of IV Infusion?

Hi- about a month ago I went to urgent care with food poisoning. I was given meds through an IV- he had to puncture a few times to find a good spot- I had a huge bruise and a hard lump. The bruise has healed but the lump remains. It s pretty firm, and you can see my pulse. Should I be worried or trust that it will heal in time?
