What Causes Persistent Mild Bleeding During Pregnancy?
Hi.. now im 7 weeks pregnant... i had a missed abortion 5 months age..this time suddenly on my 5 weeks of pregnancy i started bleeding..i was so worried and thought may be my fate has played the same thing this time also..bt after having an ultrasound i could hear my baby s heartbeat..but there is a small blood clot in between my gestational sac and uterus..and since then i have a lighter bleeding regularly.. and its brown in colour..doctor has prescribed me duphaston 3 times a day..and im on complete bed rest.. but im so worried .. please suggest me something..
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Bleeding during early part of pregnancy could be associated with miscarriage. Since you have previous history of missed abortion and also presence of clot between gestational sac and uterus carries higher risk for abortion to occur. At this stage, there is no treatment available to prevent the same except taking strict bed rest and avoiding strenuous physical activity. Kindly undertake ultrasound scan as advised to know the status as well as progress of pregnancy. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
