Hi,

Tuberculosis is a disease caused by a bacterium, called Koch's bacillus, this bacterium has the ability to chronically infect the lungs, for example.

This infection will cause inflammation that can last for weeks, causing necrosis (dead tissue) and fibrosis (tissue replacement by collagen fibres) of the infected tissue as a consequence.

Timely treatment kills bacteria and stops tissue damage.

However, in your case, the cough persists due to the persistence of irritants in the airway and this cough will continue until there is a remodeling of the damaged cells, even after the treatment is finished and you are cured.

Apart from the treatment you receive, take hot citrus with bee honey before sleeping every night to improve a cough. As for the weight, you will gain weight little by little.

Eat a variety of foods that contain grains, cereals, carbohydrates, proteins and vitamins, in a balanced way in quantity and quality in 6-8 meals a day.

Oils such as olive oil, cod liver oil, avocado oil should be ingested. Diet rich in proteins (meat, fish, chicken) before carbohydrates (flours, bread, potatoes, noodles, etc).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
