What Causes Persistent Nausea After Eating Nuts?

I am 56 yo male, athletic build, healthy diet, everything fine, until about a month ago, when I started to feel mildly to moderately nauseated. Some foods and drinks I used to like now would make me sick - no more alcohol, no coffee - for example. Nuts and seeds I was eating - not interesting. I can still eat Italian, Chinese, Mexican sort of food for example. Almost forgot what it is like to feel good - what is wrong with me?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms can be related to food allergy.

I recommend doing an allergy test to confirm the diagnosis.

I also recommend taking antihistamines such as Cetirizine.

You should avoid the food that causes these symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
