What Causes Persistent Nausea Along With Burps And Abdominal Discomfort?

Hi, I have had several days of nausea with burping, & sometimes actually vomit. I don't think that it is has anything to do with anything I have eaten. I have discomfort in my upper abdomen just below my sternum. Nothing seems to relieve the nausea or discomfort. I've tried Pepto, the BRAT diet, ginger ale, all the usual stuff for upset stomachs.

The possible diagnoses for a patient presenting with persistent nausea and/or vomiting are many and varied, but in the main may be considered:
Visceral disease
Metabolic or toxic
Central nervous system disease
Psychiatric illness
Gastroparesis (a condition in which the muscles of the stomach wall don't function properly, interfering with digestion)
General anesthesia
Migraine
Other possible causes of nausea and vomiting include:
Alcohol use disorder
Anaphylaxis (in children)
Anorexia nervosa
Appendicitis
Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV)
(both cancerous and noncancerous)
Bulimia nervosa
Concussion
Cholecystitis
Crohn's disease
Cyclic vomiting syndrome
Depression.
