HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you notice the symptoms particularly with oily or spicy foods then it is possible that you have reflux (gastroesophageal reflux- GERD).

This is usually worsened with these foods.

The use of reflux medication and lifestyle changes should help.

Medications such as nexium, prilosec, prevacid, prilosec can be helpful, they help to reduce acid production.

Lifestyle changes include: (1) reducing the use of spicy/acidic/fatty/fried foods
(2)reducing tomatoes, mint, onions, caffeine as well
(3) weight loss of any excess weight- it presses on the stomach and makes reflux worse
(4)small frequent meals instead of large meals is also helpful

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
