Girlfriend has been having issues for the past few years.....main symptoms include nausea with no relief from antacids or proton pump inhibitors ....chronic headaches that are not relieved by Tylenol or narcotics such as t3 or percs...:bloating nearly all the time and fatigue ++ She s been tested for anemia and gi issues but nothing as found on the scope Another thing we have noticed is her symptoms intensify when it s close to her period (sometimes she can have no relief for weeks) What should we do?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have persistent nausea, chronic headaches and abdominal bloating which seems to be either infection or inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract. I would suggest you to proton pump inhibitors and antacids such as Pantprazole along with domperidone. You should take antispasmodics as well. Avoid intake of large foods and try to prefer small and frequent meals. You should take oral rehydration solution for maintaining the hydration and electrolyte balance of the body. You should consult gastroenterologist once and get complete blood investigations done. Start treatment after proper diagnosis. Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for problem like migraine .Take plain and soft food and avoid hot, sharp and spicy food substances.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
