What Causes Persistent Nausea?

My sister has had nausea everyday for months and months and nothing seems to help her. She does have acid reflex but is taking medicine for that. She has tried several different nausea medicines but nothing seems to help. Do you have any idea what may be causing her to be sick everyday.

Hello,
As per the description, the cause of the persistent nausea seems to be due to the dyspepsia related to the acid reflux that she has. Apart from medication, dietary changes and changes in the life style also must be made. Eating at frequent intervals in small quantities, avoiding heavy foods, oily and fatty foods, fast foods and taking easily digestible mostly bland diet should be practiced. Prolonged exposure to certain chemicals, radiation, prolonged sitting, stress etc., can predispose to nausea and vomiting. Posture helps when there is acid reflux and hiatus hernia. Hope this helps.
