Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Both have my big toes have been partially numb for the past 3 days. This has never happened before. There is no tingling or pain it just feels completely numb. With my left toe I can feel pain but my right toe I cannot feel it when I pinch it. It just feels like a little bit of awkward pressure. I haven t worn any tight footwear nor socks and I don t have bunions nor thick callouses that could contract flow. Do I go to the doctor? Wait it out? What do you think is wrong with me. I am a female in high school about 5 8 165lbs and I participate in athletics and eat heathy.

What Causes Persistent Numbness In Big Toes?
Hello, The most common cause of toe numbness is direct compression of the nerves of the foot from footwear from shoes. Numbness of the toe can occur because of injury to the foot, nerve damage (neuropathy), and poor circulation to the foot (such as with diabetes and peripheral vascular disease). Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Esmeralda Sera, Oncologist
