What Causes Persistent Pain And Swelling Above Elbow Radiating Towards Forearm?

my husband 55 yrs old has had elbow pain for about 4 days. noticed swelling above elbow and down forearm to about 3 inches above wrist on 3rd day. no bruising or sign of insect bite. have used ice and anti inflammatory medicines. also he is an alcoholic and has high blood pressure and also a smoker

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the elbow joint swelling and pain then it needs to be ruled for tennis elbow and it can be managed with Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day hope this information helps.
