What Causes Persistent Pain Behind Temple Area?

I have had a headache basically every day for a little over two weeks now. I have been taking BC powder and aleve which dull it some but it doesn t seem to go away. It is not unbearable but rather nagging sometimes a little worse than other times. I do not have allergies and my sinuses seem clear. The pain mainly in the top of my neck and behind my temples.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have persistent pain behind temple area. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like cluster headache , encephalitis , hypertension , meningitis , migraine , sinusitis or tension headache. I would suggest you to take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain , do mind relaxing exercises like meditation and yoga . Consult neurologist if the condition will get well . Doctor may order CT scan ,MRI and check vitals . Doctor may prescribe vasograine , diuretics , calcium channel blockers . Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist for heart problem.
