Hi,
See definately the most important cause of
chest pain is cardiac cause(heart related) but there are many other reasons also and if your cardiologist says that that it is not due to cardiac issues then we can explore other causes.
It can be due to cervical disc diseases ( neck related problems)-may be aggravated by abnormal posture while sleeping or working or lifting heavy objects.Sometimes
gastritis or reflux can cause such symptoms.
Other reasons can be some trauma, inflammation of the muscles,
vitamin deficiency or even stress.
So I feel first of all focus on your diet- take good balanced diet , avoid spicy and oily food , avoid tea and coffee.Take lots of fruits and vegetables. You must have a gap of 2 hours between your sleeping and dinner.
Go for some light walk.Maintain a proper posture. You can even start taking some multivitamins.
If still the symptoms persist then go for some investigations like
complete blood count,FBS,TSH, vitamin d,
vitamin b12, calcium levels and xray chest. This will help us to know the exact cause.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Milinda Gupta
