Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have persistent pain in left outer thigh . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to meralgia paresthetica . Meralgia paresthetica is a condition characterized by tingling, numbness and burning pain in your outer thigh . Common causes of this compression include any condition that increases pressure on the groin like tight clothing, such as belts , obesity and scar tissue . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order X-ray , electromyography , nerve conduction study and nerve blockade to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may give Corticosteroid injections , tricyclic antidepressants and gabapentin . In rare cases surgery can also be recommended . For now wear loose clothes .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
