What Causes Persistent Pain In Left Thigh While Sitting?

My husband has to sit in front of computer for long hours. A few days back he begun to have pain in his joint of thighs on left side (groin area), doctor (surgeon) suggested to do sonography, it was normal then he prescribed medicines for varicocele . However, medication is about to get over but when ever he sits on his chair the pain starts. What can be the cause, is it something serious? and what should be done now ? Please suggest.These medicines were prescribed :Augmentin 625 DUO ibugesic plus,DICLORAN A

I really appreciate your concern, such pain could be due to sitting position for long time and so this may cause the stiffness of muscle and he really need to stop this, till then any analgesic can be tried but this may not be the solution of pain, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
