What Causes Persistent Pain In Lower Left Back?

I am having pain in my lower left back. It has been about 2 and a half weeks now. It is a constant throbbing pain. I sleep on heating pad at night now. I have sharp pains in same area several times a day. Feel like the throbbing is hurting in my butt now and have pressure when I go to the Bathroom. Any ideas??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,
Thanks for the query.
I understand your concern.
The constant pain in lower left back can be due to- Inflammation hip, spinal ,, sachroileac joints / vitamin D & calcium deficiency./ problems of left kidney, ovary, illium / rectum inflammations like in ceiliac disease/ chron's disease
A proper examination by orthopedic surgeon / physician would find the exact cause... followed by soecific treatment,
thanks
