Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern and would explain that yours is a complex symptomatology.

I recommend consulting with a GP for a careful physical examination. A nerve conduction study and a cervical spine x ray are needed to exclude a possible pinched nerve or a radicular pain related to a cervical spine disk displacement, which could be the cause of your arm pain.

Regarding your other symptoms (chronic fatigue, blocked sinuses, weight gain), further tests like a sinus x ray and blood lab tests:

- complete blood count (for chronic anemia or infection)
- PCR, sedimentation rate (inflammation)
- fasting glucose (possible glucose intolerance)
- kidney and liver function tests
- cortisol plasma levels (for the adrenal gland function)
- thyroid hormone levels ( for the thyroid gland function)
- blood electrolytes, etc.

to exclude a possible sinus infection or a metabolic disorder related to your symptomatology.

Hope to have been helpful!

Feel free to ask any other questions whenever you need!

Best regards,

Dr. Iliri
