What Causes Persistent Pain In Right Side Of The Back?

My back (right side) hurts. It too high to be my kidneys and too low to be the lungs. It has hurt since March/April. At first I thought maybe we needed a new mattress...nope that wasn t it. I asked our school nurse what she thought & from were I pointed to she said it was probably a pulled mussel. I don t recall pulling anything. A pulled mussel wouldn t continue to hurt this leg epuld it?

Hello.

What i understand and believe is that your problem seems more muscular. It may be a muscle pull or can be a spasm resulting from overuse of lower back muscles commonly seen in people with prolonged sitting job.
I would recommend you to visit a physical therapist for proper assessment.

Thanks
