What Causes Persistent Pain In The Left Shoulder?

So, I have had some pain. About 3 am it woke me up and it kept me awake, what I thought was the right side of my left shoulder blade, but inside not outside skin type pain. I went to the Chiropractor thinking it was my ribs being out. He adjusted me, but the pain has not gone away. It has been constant. I have never had pain like this before. I am wondering if it could be heart pain because it is centered behind my left breast now.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a pinched nerve of the shoulder.

I suggest using anti-inflammatory such as Ibuprofen.

I also recommend to do physical therapy and use cool compresses for relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
