What Causes Persistent Pain In The Little Finger Knuckle?

The first knuckle on my left hand, where my pinkie connects to my palm has hurt for a couple of weeks following a fall from my bike. I can still move my hand and fingers, and do everything I have before, it simply hurts when I push or pull too hard, bend my fingers back, or make a tight fist. It is always a little sore since falling, but no bruising or swelling, so I do not feel like it is broken. So what is up with my hand?

Hello,
In my opinion you might have suffered soft tissue injury during the fall.
Or you might have had a hair line fracture.
It is advisable to get a x-ray of your finger to see for any hair line fracture.
As far as soft tissue injury is concerned,it should heal with rest.
However if the pain persists,an orthopedic surgeon would be required to be consulted.
