General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The most common cause of testicular pain is infection like mumps, orchitis, epididymitis (STI). The other causes of persistent pain in the testis is, testicular torsion, inguinal hernia, kidney stones, etc. If you are better & having no pain, it could have been from infection, that has now reduced. Do continue to take the prescribed medicines. If discomfort is still there, get a follow up clinical examination done. Get assessed & treated at the earliest. You can take Ibuprofen (advil) or Acetaminophen for relieve.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
