Ive had a pain in my upper left ribs for around 3 weeks it only hurts when i inhale and is getting worse , especially at night i cant lay on my back or side .i went to docs on friday got bloods and a chest xray and also an ultrasound on monday..i once had a pancreatic attack but this doesnt come close ive taken co codomol but it doesnt help plus im lethargic all the time.

It may be due to some minor contusions or other possibility is costochondritis. As of now, you can take analgesics like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac for pain relief. Also take anti inflammatory drugs like Serratiopeptidase. Generally, it will settle by a short course of analgesics and in case of persistent pain, you can consult a physician and get evaluated.
